Top Dawg Entertainment rapper Isaiah Rashad has come out as sexually fluid and publicly addressed his leaked sex tape

Rashad sat down for an interview with Joe Budden, which was shared to Patreon Thursday (May 26).

During the interview, Rashad said he is sexually fluid and also addressed the leaked video of him having intimate physical encounters with men.

“I’d say, like, I’m sexually fluid,” Rashad said. “I’m still learning about it myself. I’m putting my head in the books to find out the basics of it, but, basically, like, I’m not in full control of, when I walk into a room, of who I’m attracted to.”

“I’m more attracted to a personality,” he continued. “I’m more attracted, sometimes, to the intellect. And sometimes, it’s just being attracted to somebody.”

Rashad went on to say that he is currently in a monogamous relationship and said that just because he identifies as sexually fluid “doesn’t mean I’m going out and doing whatever.” He added, “I have an understanding with myself that, you know, to not expect anything out of myself as far as an attraction.”

Speaking of his partner, he said: “Luckily, I date someone who has a similar understanding of themselves in that way. She’s putting me on to a lot of stuff I didn’t even understand.”

A sex tape featuring the 31-year-old rapper was leaked back in February, effectively ‘outing’ him, which he addressed in April while performing at Coachella:

“Just because I grew up in high school I dated this type of person, in college dated this type of person, it doesn’t mean that as an adult it’s always going to be, like, specific,” the rapper said.

“I’m more attracted to a personality, and I’m attracted to the intellect. And sometimes it’s just being attracted to somebody.”

Budden addressed the leak outing Rashad to his family members, saying: “You said your family knew, your grandparents knew, your girl knew.”

“It’s a time for my family together, out of everything,” Rashad said. “It’s been a blessing that with that happening, and my grandad dying a couple of days afterwards, it’s been a concentration of family together, more than they had been before.

“If anything, I can’t be mad at everything about it. I always gotta look at the brighter side of stuff.”
