Thandiwe Newton BLASTS Sean Penn for complaining men are ‘feminised’

Amen to the queen that is Thandiwe Newton and a big fat OH DEAR to Sean Penn who has said in a new interview with that modern men have a ‘cowardly gene’ that leads to them wearing skirts.

Promoting his new film, Penn said: “I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminised. I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them. There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.”

Westworld actress Thandiwe Newton was having NONE of that however and took to twitter saying: “Dude what are you SAY-ING?? Like for REAL? You’re a jibbering FOOL. MF you used to be sexy but now you’re just tragic.’

She didn’t stop there, adding: ‘In front of your DAUGHTER!? That poor little mite. Thank God her Mum’s so dope.’ 

What a tool. Clearly he doesn’t realise that throughout history, men have worn dresses and his toxic masculinity is both archaic and embarrassing.  It’s actually the opposite of cowardice, it takes a lot bigger balls to put on a skirt than it does to wear your precious jeans Sean. Just ask Billy Porter. HARD pass on your new movie mate!
