Trans and non-binary star Indya Moore who played the wonderful Angel Vasquez-Evangelista in Pose has been cast in the second Aquaman movie entitled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which is currently filming around the world.

Indya will be playing the part of Karshon who was originally a Green Lantern villain but also the alter ego of King Shark who happened to have just been in The Suicide Squad where they met their demise. It’s clear the movie is going in a different direction with the character this time and we’re excited to see the result!

Indya Moore recently made the press saying that they were going to rethink going to the Met Gala next year after attending this years event and seeing the various protests, wondering if they were on the right side of the barrier. The protests were was mainly down to the outrageous displays of opulence and exorbitant prices of the tickets which only highlighted the raging financial divide in America and the world.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set for release in cinemas on December 16, 2022.
