Beyoncé breaks record becoming the woman with the most Grammy wins of all time
The Grammys have been hit with controversy this year with The Weeknd very unhappy about not being nominated and vowing to never go to the award show again.
Nevertheless, the masked up, socially distanced ceremony went ahead last night and despite some reports claiming she wasn’t going to go, Beyoncé turned up looking fierce and we bet she’s glad she did!
Picking up four out of her nine nominations, Beyoncé’s tally of Grammys now sits at a whopping 28, making her the first female to garner that many and equalling uber-producer Quincy Jones’ haul.
Never one to be outdone, Taylor Swift also made history becoming the first female artist ever to win the Album of the Year award three times.
The big talk of the ceremony was performances from Harry Styles (swoon), Dua Lipa (who had clearly had her iced coffee that morning) and Cardi B with Megan the Stallion (two women one word – SLAY), with MTS paying a gushing tribute to Queen Bee during their acceptance speech (we live for a love-in).
