Colton Underwood fails to sell TV rights to wedding

Ah to be a reality TV star. When your life IS your USP, you need to keep upping the ante in order to stay relevant with pregnancies, weddings and feuds the very lifeblood of your business. Colton Underwood’s wedding it seems, isn’t quite cutting the mustard for those pesky TV execs.

A ‘source’ (oh, one of THEM) said to gossip site Radar: “His agent set up a meeting with almost every development and programming executive in town. What was interesting is that Colton attended most of those meetings without his fiancé. To say he was optimistic is an understatement, he was 100% positive this was a done deal.”

Colton announced his engagement to now fiancé and political strategist Jordan C. Brown last month after less than a year of dating, not that anyone’s judgin’.  He said at the time: “After my birthday, Jordan and I went to Big Sur for a weekend getaway to decompress and relax in nature. I couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful place to celebrate an amazing milestone in my life and relationship.”

In the world of reality TV, does something really exist if it’s not televised? Let’s hope he just has a beautiful wedding with his betrothed and focusses on their love rather than the exposure it could have created.
