Jenny from the block was honoured with the Icon Award at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards and delivered a fierce performance of her biggest hits and most iconic looks.

J. Lo, with the help of some Drag Race icons, Pose star Billy Porter and more, tore up the ceremony on Tuesday (22 March), whilst showcasing some of the diva’s most memorable looks over the years.

Porter opened proceedings, announcing: “The word for tonight is icon, legendary, mesmerizing, show stopping.”

The performance then moved into runway time with Drag Race season 14’s Kerri Colby sporting that iconic Versace dress (the actual one), followed by Naysha Lopez, Jorgeous, Morgan McMichaels, April Carrion and Laganja Estranja all rocking some of the singer’s famous lweks.

Proudly accepting her award, Lopez said: “I really do it for you guys, I really do. And because of the love you give me … I can overcome negativity and so can you, every single moment, and let me tell you something else – I’m just getting started.”

She continued: “Because of you, I get to do what I love the most in life and that is the most wonderful blessing. That’s a gift that you give me and I just want to say thank you for that.

“I want to say thank you to every one of you for believing in me when other people didn’t, even when I didn’t,” she then said. “Thank you for teaching me who I really am.”

“Icon,” she said of her newfound title, stands for “I Can Overcome Negativity.”

Ben Affleck, Lopez’s ex-fiancé-turned-current-boyfriend, watched proudly from the audience as she hit the ate up the performance on stage.
