Elliot Page to release memoir in 2023 entitled Pageboy
Actor and LGBTQ+ icon Elliot Page is to pen his first memoir for publisher Flatiron Books. It will be released next year and wittily called Pageboy.
The publisher said in a statement: “The memoir will delve into Page’s relationship with his body, his experiences as one of the most famous trans people in the world, and will cover mental health, assault, love, relationships, sex, and the cesspool that Hollywood can be.”
Elliot came out as trans in 2020 and was instantly catapulted into the stratosphere as one of the most notable trans men on the planet. He was the first trans man to appear on the cover of Time Magazine and said of his coming out: “What I was anticipating was a lot of support and love and a massive amount of hatred and transphobia. That’s essentially what happened.”
We cannot WAIT to read this. He has done a LOT of movies from a really young age and has a hugely interesting story what we are SO here for. In the meantime here’s the cast of Umbrella Academy talking about the new season…
