Back in April we reported on how Matt Bomer had been cast in Fellow Travellers, an epic gay love story for Showtime and now it’s been announced that Bridgerton‘s Jonathan Bailey will co-star.

The limited series is expected to run over 8 episodes and According to the blurb ‘will span several decades as the two men cross paths amid the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the hedonism of the ’70s and the AIDS crisis of the ’80s’.

Both Bomer and Bailey are gay actors who have talked about their experiences of being out in the industry but they also happen to both be pretty damn hot which will give the show a bit of a boost in the all important ratings no doubt.

At the time we told you what Showtime Networks entertainment president Jana Winograde said of the new show: “As a thrilling and deeply moving exploration of character and American life in the latter half of the past century, Fellow Travelers shines an unprecedented light on stories that are as urgent today as ever. The series delivers us directly into an insider world of Washington rife with national consequences, while drawing out the intimate moments that are profoundly personal and often heartbreaking.”

Here’s Jonathan being all cute n’ hot n’ stuff. No word yet on when the show will air but we’ll keep you posted.
