Britney to return to music with a new version of Tiny Dancer with Elton John
Britney Spears is reportedly to return to the charts with a brand new version of Tiny Dancer on which she is to duet with Sir Elton John.
Tiny Dancer would be the first music Britney has recorded since the dissolution of the conservatorship which kept her trapped in her own life for 13 years.
Elton will be hoping to repeat the success of his duet with Dua Lipa which scored him number ones around the world and was a reworking/remix of his song Cold Heart. The track has this week been nominated for Song of the Year and Best Collab at the MTV Music Video Music Awards 2022.
According to Page Six, a source said: “This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible. Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”
Watt won the 2021 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year and the source continued: “They’ve already played it for people at their record label, and everybody is freaking out. It is so good, they are saying this is going to be the song of the summer. Britney is officially back. She’s back to work, and she’s super excited.”
